i have a question for you. I was reading the Koran and i cam across Quran 5:46 it says "And in their footsteps we sent Iesa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary) confirming the Tourat (Torah) that had come before him, and we have him the Injeel (Gospel) in which was guidance and light and confirmation of the Taurat that had come before him, a guidance and an admonition for Al-Muttaqoon.
First of all, the Torah already had come way before Jesus came. The Jews during the time of Christ realized this. The gospel was written by 4 of his disciples after Jesus died and ressurected. They confirm the prophecies of the Old testament.
my question is, it seems that the Koran is confirming that the gospels of the Bible are indeed true! And the gospels say that Jesus is Lord, he is the messiah and he indeed has died on the cross and rose again.
The Bible also says that there are no more prophets after Jesus and that anyone else claiming to be is a false prophet after Jesus was here. Jesus warns us about them in the Bible and tells us to not follow them.
if this is what is true, Muhammad must be false, because he came over 600 years after Christ walked the earth.
i am not trying to attack your religion at all because i respect you as a muslim, but i was reading several verses in the Koran.
Koran 2:191 "Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them."
Koran 9:30 "The Jews and Christians are perverts. Fight them."
Koran 8:60 "Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize infidels."
So, these are saying to attack unbelievers of Islam... Christians believe in guiding and not attacking.
So what are your opinions on these?
P. S. I'm really not trying to attack your religion or yourself for that matter so please don't assume I'm being judgemental based off of my finding. I want to see a Muslim's point of view on these. Please take care and I hope all is well with you.
